    Daughter of a legend

    Share: Being a legend is a rare blessing which God bestows on a very few people. I smile with innocence and my eyes sparkle with pride when I tell everyone that I am a daughter of one of those blessed souls, and that Prof. Kanwaljit Singh Dhudike was my father. A mourning 28th date of September 2014 painted a big black stroke of sorrow everywhere, as far as my eyes could possibly see. How would a little birdie feel when the parent birdie just vanished away like a click of a finger and never came back? For me, the charming colors of my life, was papa.     The overjoyed me..

    Share: Last week my inbox made me jump in joy and bought that rare over-sized smile, right across my face ! 😀 *Winks* I hope it’s not sounding exaggerated but that’s how I actually felt when I read a mail from the ‘Daily Post’ newspaper. After a few conversations with their representative, all I knew was this, that I was going to be interviewed the next day for being one of the few woman photographers of the city Ludhiana- My hometown. Okayyyyyyy…I thought.. ohhhhh kayyyyyyy !     Rain beyond rain..

    Share: Monsoon as always, bought all the life alive this year. Not only there was joy and awesomeness all over but the loving monsoon season also bought a lot of relief to the people especially in north India, who were being roasted at 50 degrees celcius and more. The previous post has all the fun that I could capture around during this amazing season. This releif however, was only temporary and soon we heard about the devastating effects of the monsoon during the later part of the last week. Monsoon rains had caused the flash floods and landslides in Uttrakhand which took away the life of so many people, while several went missing. My heartfelt condolences with all those who suffered this havoc 🙁  TV channels are still broadcasting the live news of so many people and apartments which have toppled into the rushing, swallowing waters of the Ganges, the India’s …
